New Customer Review - The Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries
by L.J. Smith [YA Smith]

The Vampire Diaries is obviously about vampires, so if your a huge fan then you've probably have already discovered this series and if not then, well, your in luck. Elena is beautiful, smart, outgoing, and you know, the typical protanganist. That is, until her parents died. She's still outrageously beautiful but not so much the outgoing part. She stops doing cheerleading(barf), and starts to write. Writing helps her deal with the sadness of her parents passing away. She then soon after that meets Stephan Salvator. Stephan is basically Edward Cullen. No offense to the writer, but come on, he's like a blooming replica. Moving on, Stephan and Elena start dating. But Elena starts to realize that he's been hiding things. Again with the obvious, he's a vampire. This book may seem like a,"Seen it. Know it" type of thing but believe me, you have never seen the Vampire Diaries. It grabs you by the first scene. You are compelled to watch it hour by hour. Start watching it, or you'll regret it. -- Review submitted by Vanessa L. - a customer of the Gere Branch Library
