Eastern Nebraska should be proud of the growth of both the Nebraska Book Fesitval in Lincoln, and the Plum Creek Literatcy Festival, in Seward. Their success helps raise the profiles of all kinds of reading and writing-related sectors of the community.
The unfortunate part about this years' NBF was that it was held on overlapping dates with the Nebraska Library Association's State Conference, which prevented a lot of book-oriented folks from attending. Hope next year' events are held on different weekends !
Did anyone attend the Festival, and how was it ?
